Pamela Johnson has been in clinical practice for over 25 years as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. Pam received her master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Wheaton College Graduate School and completed the post-graduate intensive clinical training internship at the Brief Family Therapy Center of the Wisconsin Institute on Family Studies. She has taught counseling as an adjunct faculty member at Trinity International University Graduate School.

Pam has developed extensive specialization in working with couples, including highly distressed relationships. Her practice also includes working with individuals with life transitions, depression, anxiety, spiritual issues, grief, trauma history, and relationship conflict. At Compass Counseling, she co-leads group therapy and provides clinical supervision of therapists and interns. Pam is married with two adult daughters. An avid pickle ball player, she is happiest on a certain lake in the north woods of Wisconsin.
