Nancy Vitacco is a licensed clinical social worker and has worked professionally with children of all ages since 1984. She has a B.S. in Human Development & Social Policy from Northwestern University and a M.S.W. from Jane Addams College of Social Work at UIC. Nancy has extensive experience dealing with students who have school difficulties including social skill deficits, learning disabilities, emotional disabilities, and autism spectrum disorders. Additionally, she has treated children dealing with anxiety, ADHD, OCD and grief/loss. Nancy uses a variety of approaches in treatment including play therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, behavioral modification and psycho-educational social skills groups. She is approachable and easily establishes rapport with children and their families.
