Brenda Olsen is a licensed clinical professional counselor and has been in private practice for over 20 years. She received her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Trinity International University and Advanced Counseling Training from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. Brenda specializes in helping people establish and maintain healthy emotional and physical boundaries as a way to mature and transform relationships. She has a wide range of clinical experience with a focus on couples, families, single adults, group therapy, adults in transition, co-dependency, self-esteem and issues associated with grief and loss. Her practice includes work with extended family systems in the area of forgiveness and reconciliation. In addition, she has taught both undergraduate and graduate school courses in a university setting and currently provides clinical supervision for therapists and interns entering the counseling profession. Brenda is sought after due to her warm, direct, and interactive approach to therapy. Specialties: couples, group therapy, pre-marital counseling, women’s issues, depression and anxiety, trauma, adoption, guilt and shame, men and women in leadership, single parents, young adults in transition, EMDR therapy.
